This is my first Bleach fanart piece I did and color all by myself. Took about six hours, including the lineart piece. I forgot how their school uniform looked like so I just made it up x.x and coloring Ichigo's hair is really confusing cause I didn't know what to do with spiky hair shading, hope I didn't mess that one up xD I don't think the shading on the uniform is quite right... but yeah, that's the best that I can do.
By the way, this is a gift for cause she'll celebrate her birthday in next week but because I'll be too busy (summer school exam on 5th-8th January) I have to do this piece early. hope you like it, Katie! Happy early birthday!!
The background was snapped by me as well. I actually chose 5 different backgrounds (this one, at the train station, 2 parks, and beach) but after asking a few people (including and ) I decided to go with the 2nd one, which is this one. It was taken on a place called Ballarat (google it f00z) in Melbourne.
all in all, I haven't colored (except grayscale ones) for a while but I'm satisfied with this one. Rukia's a real fun to draw and color ^^
+fullview will be appreciated

I can almost hear them denying it! Excellent job on this pic! I like the look of it.
From a technical perspective:
The hair shading looks fine to me- Ichigo's hair is a bit odd, so the shading choices you've made work.
I like the fabric folds you've drawn, they look simple, yet very convincing to me, and match the rest of the picture. The lines themselves are rough , but in an interesting way.
The school uniform you've drawn is very close to the real one, so I wouldn't worry about that.
The background really suits the pic, and seems to be in the right perspective for it.
This is really cool! XD I love the characters ... the colouring and shading look great and their expressions are just priceless. And the background works perfectly!
